White Coffee

Sounds like a paradox doesn’t it? White Coffee? Here’s what it is: a very lightly roasted robusta bean that comes out of the roaster an off-white color, and hard as a rock. That’s why we only send it to you ground. Cafe Bianco/White Coffee is nutty and toasty tasting and makes really wonderful lattes.

It's a general rule that dark roast coffees hold better with ice than other coffees. Icing a coffee exposes or amplifies the flavors that are more subtle in a hot brewed coffee. Black and Tan or French Roast both make excellent iced coffees. Try different coffees to find you favorite Ancora on ice. Remember the trick to make great iced coffee: brew your coffee double strength, chill it a while and then serve iced.
Here's a recipe for a really special drink:

Ancora Iced Cuban Coffee

Strong & Simple
•one 16 oz. serving•
• 10 oz. Brewed Iced Ancora Black & Tan coffee
• 1 oz. Vanilla Syrup
• 3 oz. Half & Half
• 1 Cup Ice
Mix together the coffee, syrup and Half & Half. Pour over ice.
